Two Life Sentences Given To Murder Suspects

(Providence, RI)-- Two Rhode Island men received life sentences in murder cases on Wednesday.The state attorney general's office says Brian Audette pleaded no contest to a second-degree murder charge after he was accused of beating Donna Pike with a dumbbell in her apartment in Woonsocket following an argument; this happened in 2013.The A.G.'s office also says Jared Rogers pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and other charges after he was charged with fatally stabbing his nephew, Michael Rogers, at their home in Warwick in 2016.
