Increased Police Presence At Rhode Island Mosques

(Undated)--There have been requests for increased police presence at mosques in Rhode Island after Friday's terror attack at two mosques in New Zealand.Rhode Island State Police Superintendent Colonel James Manni released a statement on Friday afternoon saying police would provide the extra presence and visibility at places of worship, and that he spoke to mosque leaders around the state about safety concerns.Police and members of the U.S. Attorney's Office offered their support during services at a mosque in North Smithfield on Friday.At least 50 people were killed in the New Zealand attack.
