(Providence, RI)--A federal judge is dismissing a lawsuit brought against Rhode Island's new tolling system that draws revenue from truckers.The suit, dismissed yesterday, was filed by the trucking industry, which argued the system violates the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution.The judge said the federal court has no jurisdiction over states imposing taxes and said the suit should instead be filed at the state level.
