McDonald’s testing out Vegan McNuggets: Folks who follow a vegan diet may soon be able to enjoy McDonald’s yummy McNuggets. The fast food chain is currently testing a vegan version of the popular item in Norway, made with mashed potatoes, combined with "chickpeas, onions, carrots and corn," and coated in a layer of breadcrumbs. They, of course, are fried, just like regular McNuggets. And for vegetarians, Mcdonald’s in Norway also have the Vegetarian McFeast, which features a breaded bean-based burger, topped with cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles and special sauce, which can be made vegan if you hold off the cheese and sauce.
