(Providence, RI)--Parking fees at lots for Rhode Island beaches are staying the same after Governor Raimondo's administration had proposed an increase to help with maintenance.WPRI-TV reports the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is backing off the proposed hike after speaking with legislative leaders who were not in favor.The DEM will move forward with increases for camping and park rental fees, according to the report.
