Parkland Shooting Survivors Talk About Recent Student Suicides

(Providence, RI)--Two students who survived the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida participated in a panel discussion at Rhode Island College on Monday.Tyah-Amoy Roberts and Alex Wind were at RIC to talk about Generation Z activism.Their appearances came on the heels of news that a second survivor of the shooting has died from suicide.Roberts said many students at the high school are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and survivor's guilt.
