(Providence, RI)--The state legislator who received an admonishment by House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello last week says he isn't challenging the action.Instead, Providence Democrat Ray Hull says he will, quote, "reject" the admonishment he received after he admitted to voting for fellow state rep John Lombardi, who had left for a medical issue during a House session earlier this month.Hull claims that Mattiello violated a House rule by sending him the letter instead of submitting an allegation to the House Rules Committee to have it investigate.Hull is a member of the Reform Caucus, the group of Democrats who believe Mattiello has too much power as House Speaker.
