Pride celebrations are an amazing time for folks in the LGBTQ community to come together, and it seems a lot of folks are planning to travel this year to get their party on.
Most Pride celebrations take place in June, and according to Orbitz there has been a significant increase in flight searches connected to Pride celebrations, with 79% of LGTBQ travelers planning to travel to events with a group. The site notes that over half of those surveyed will travel between five and 50 miles for Pride events, with San Francisco (13%), New York (11%) and Chicago (10%) the most popular destinations.
But where is the best place to celebrate Pride? Well, Orbitz looked at hotel inventory in key Pride-friendly destinations, as well as recent flight prices and travel searches, to come up with their list Top 10 Cities to Celebrate 2019 Pride.They include:
