Manual Transmissions Are Nearly Extinct In Midsize Sedans, Only One Left

Do you know how to drive stick? Apparently many people don't. The Honda Accord is the last mainstream midsize sedan you can buy in the U.S. with a manual transmission. Also, Mazda has confirmed that the Mazda 6 will only be offered with automatics for 2019. In addition to lower sales, many car makers have moved away from stick-shifts as electronic driver aids (like automatic emergency brakes) work better with automatic transmissions.
