(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Republican Party has a new leader.Suzanne Cienki, the former president of the East Greenwich Town Council, was selected as the new party chair at a gathering in Providence on Saturday to replace Brandon Bell, who served as GOP chairman for the last four years.Cienki edged out a field of candidates that included Rebecca Schiff, a real estate investor and fundraiser, who reportedly got a boost from phone calls placed to delegates by former President Trump press secretary Sean Spicer.
