Long Island middle school teacher Laura Miranda is pissed. Somehow, a topless photo she sent to a dude she was dating more than two years ago…got into the hands of one of her students. Of course, the kids passed it around…and Miranda lost her job. How the kid got it? Who knows. Was that student reprimanded? Who knows. What she IS sure of? That she’s not the “bad role model” the school has painted her to be. So she’s heading to court, suing for discrimination and $3-million. Her point? No man would’ve been fired for being topless, that this was a private communication – and that this whole ordeal has destroyed her reputation. Miranda says she’d drop the suit if the school hires her back – but they’re not budging, and neither is she. It should also be noted, it is legal for women to be topless in New York.
