(Pawtucket, RI)--A unique annual boat race in Rhode Island is getting additional vessels.Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien last week announced a gift from the government of Taiwan of six new dragon boats to be delivered in time for this year's Rhode Island Chinese Dragon boat Races and Taiwan Day Festival, according to a report from the Pawtucket Times.That boat infusion will double the size of the city's fleet.This year will be the 20th year for the event, to be held on the Seekonk River in September.
