When commuters on their way to Dublin, Ireland spotted a dog riding the train alone, they let Irish Rail Staff know. Workers couldn’t find the little dog’s owner around, so they took him in and nicknamed him “Hamish.” They posted about the found pup on social media and asked if “anyone lost their dog?” and Hamish’s story soon went viral as people joined forces to help find his rightful owners.
While the social media search was on for his family, Irish Rail staff brought Hamish to My Lovely Horse Rescue, where he chilled out and waited. Soon the power of social media worked and his family was reunited with the lost dog, who’s name is actually Tyson. They were thrilled to have their pet back and thankful for everyone who cared for him along the way, but they still have no idea how he got on the train all by himself.
