(Smithfield, RI)--Three student-athletes at Bryant University are facing criminal charges after a reported incident on campus over the weekend, according to multiple media reports.The Smithfield Police Department says an altercation had taken place at a townhouse which had been entered by a group of students in an apparent breaking-and-entering assault case.Bryant University is also looking into the matter; a statement from the school says due process will be observed, but that there is no excuse for violence.
