It’s April 9th, 2019 and that means it’s Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops! To get in on the free ice cream, head to any participating Scoop Shop today from noon to 8pm.
They’ll be serving up scoops of ice cream, including non-dairy versions, in a cone or a cup, completely free. You can get any flavor you like and word is, there’s no limit to how many times you can get back in line, if one’s not enough for you.
Ben & Jerry’s has been celebrating Free Cone Day since way back in 1979 when company founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield wanted to thank their Burlington, Vermont community for a successful first year in business. The event was a hit and they’ve been doing it ever since at Scoop Shops around the world, and this year, they expect to give away more than a million scoops.
