Legendary “Monty Python” Member Had An Anthrax Envelope Scare

Monty Python's Eric Idle is assuring fans he's safe after an anthrax scare.

The actor's home in the Hollywood Hills was evacuated Monday night after an envelope containing an unknown powdery substance was discovered in the mail. Police and a hazmat crew determined the chemical was not harmful, but two people were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Idle took to social media to thank everyone for their concern, saying "you don't know how much you're loved till times like these." He also thanked police and first responders for their swift reaction in keeping them all safe. The iconic British comedy star even threw in a quote from the Python movie “The Life of Brian” and “Spamalot” advising fans "Always Look on the Bright Side of life..."
