(Central Falls, RI)--Mediation is being agreed to by parties to a lawsuit filed to block the removal of ICE detainees from the Wyatt detention center in Central Falls.Wyatt bondholders filed a suit on Wednesday after the detention center's board of directors voted last week to temporarily suspend the ICE contract, claiming the move could cost them over 130-million dollars.The Providence Journal reports the mediation was agreed to in federal court yesterday and that a meeting has been scheduled for next Thursday.The board said the detention facility's warden was not authorized to bring in the detainees.
