Supreme Court Says Swimming Pool Death Lawsuit Can Continue

(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Supreme Court is ruling that a lawsuit filed against a pool company after a boy's drowning death can move forward.Four-year-old Nicholas Gear died in a swimming pool in Portsmouth in 2012.The child's parents sued the seller of the pool, Seekonk, Massachusetts-based NAMCO, but a state Superior Court judge sided with NAMCO last year.The state Supreme Court is overturning that decision.
