Burrillville Declared A "2nd Amendment Sanctuary Town"

(Burrillville, RI) -- A Rhode Island town is establishing itself as a sanctuary, but this one doesn't have anything to do with immigrants. The Burrillville Town Council has unanimously passed a resolution declaring a "2nd Amendment sanctuary town". One aspect of that is that police will be allowed to exercise discretion when enforcing gun laws, and another is that the town won't pay for storing weapons seized as a result of a gun law that bans a specific firearm. Councilman Donald Fox, who introduced the resolution, says there is an attack on 2nd Amendment rights and this is pushback against that.
