(Pawtucket, RI)--Pawtucket Red Sox minority owner Mike Tamburro says he is part of a group that is interested in bringing another Major League Baseball-affiliated team to Pawtucket when the PawSox leave.That proposal is one of a half-dozen that has been submitted for the re-use of McCoy Stadium.Any MLB-affiliated team playing at McCoy would need to get special permissions due to the PawSox having territorial rights when they move to Worcester, Massachusetts.Another of the six bids received by CommerceRI would see an independent league team play in the stadium, which would not need PawSox or league approval.
