Therapy Dogs Get Their Own Yearbook Page At Marjory Stoneman Douglas

Among the photos of students and teachers in this year’s edition of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School yearbook are some extra good boys and girls. The furry faces of the 14 therapy dogs that have been there for the Parkland, Florida school’s teens and staff since the mass shooting there last year are featured on a special yearbook page.

“The kids love having the dogs on campus and honestly, so do we,” yearbook adviser Sarah Lerner explains. She says these pooches are like celebs around campus, so they wanted to honor the dogs by including their photos. Everyone’s happy to see their smiling faces there, just don’t expect these dogs to sign any yearbooks.
