RIDOT Preparing To Start New Truck Tolls

(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is planning to start collecting truck tolls at a new location in July.A draft schedule obtained by WPRI-TV indicates a new gantry will then go live every month until a dozen tolling spots total are active, including the two currently in use on I-95 in southern Rhode Island.The new gantry will be on Route 6 at the Woonasquatucket River Bridge, according to the schedule.
