(Washington, DC)--The U.S. House Judiciary Committee is launching a massive anti-trust investigation into the tech industry.The wide-ranging investigation will probe the practices of tech giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon and Apple to determine whether they've stifled competition.Chairman of House Antitrust Subcommittee David Cicilline of Rhode Island says Congress has to step up to see if existing antitrust laws are adequate for the tech sector.The investigation comes as the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission are moving to divide antitrust oversight of tech giants between the two agencies.
