While most fans have been mourning the loss of Stan Lee,his family hasn’t caught a break. The late Marvel legend’s daughter Joan Celia Lee is suing another one of his former employees for allegedly taking advantage of him.
We told you beforethat she accused former business partner Keya Morgan of elder abuse, and now she’s suing former Comic Con security guard-turned-business manager Max Anderson.The story is pretty much the same, Anderson managed his memorabilia bookings and events like fan signings. He’s accused of elder abuse, and a “sinister plot” to gain Lee’s trust and pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“Anyone who loved my father and respected his work should see Max Anderson as we do,” she says in a statement to TMZ. “My father was a loving and trusting man, he was all about love. He should never have been in business with a man like Max Anderson.”
