TX Teacher Fired For Reporting "Illegal" Students To Trump Via Twitter

Most everyone in the world knows that when you tweet, the world can SEE you. Apparently, Fort Worth high school teacher Georgia Clark didn’t get the memo. It seems Clark thought that all of her tweets to President Trump reporting “illegal” students at Carter-Riverside High School were private messages.

Now, the local school board has voted to remove her – and is entertaining the request that her teaching credentials be rescinded. No word on that, front. What caused so much upset? Clark’s tweets that her school had been “taken over” by “illegal students from Mexico,” and that Trump was elected “on the promise that a wall would be built to protect our borders.” There were also multiple statements referencing "illegals."

Another issues? Clark appears to have a history of making racially-charged remarks.

  • In 2013, Clark was suspended after she allegedly referred to a group of students as "Little Mexico" and another student as "white bread."
  • But she’s also being investigated for allegedly telling a student to "Show me your papers ... you are illegal," after the student asked for permission to use the bathroom.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegramreports that about 88% of the students at the school Clark had been teaching are Hispanic. She has not commented on this story – and her Twitter account has been deleted.
