State Senate Passes 3D Gun Ban

(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Senate is approving a ban on 3D-printed guns and other untraceable or undetectable firearms.The legislation specifically outlaws a firearm that is made through a 3D-printing process, one that lacks a serial number or one that would get through a metal detector.The bill now goes to the Rhode Island House of Representatives, where there is companion legislation being sponsored.
