It appears that "Saturday Night Live" is going to need to find someone new to play President Trump.Alec Baldwin made the announcement that his days of playing Trump on the show are over.
He started playing Trump in 2016 and continued through the 2018-2019 SNL season 44. However, he made it clear he doesn't want to return for Season 45. A big reason for that is family time. He has five children, four with wife Hilaria Thomas. They were expecting a fifth child together, but Hilaria revealed in April 2019 that she had a miscarriage.
Alec was asked about who he thinks should play the President next. His answers included Darrell Hammond and Anthony Atamanuik.
The next season of SNL is slated to begin in September.
