The Democratic National Committee is naming the 20 candidates who qualified for the first Democratic debate. To qualify for the debate, candidates had to either have one-percent support in three separate polls or show evidence of at least 65-thousand unique donors.
A number of candidates met both qualifications, including early front-runners former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren. The candidates will be broken up into two groups of ten, which will debate over two nights – June 26thand 27th– in Miami. The lineups for each event haven't been determined(a full list of those being included is below).
Four candidates didn't make the cut at all: Montana Governor Steve Bullock; former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel; Miramar, Florida Mayor Wayne Messam; and Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton.
