White House Lawyers Objected To 155 Questions For Hope Hicks

The House Judiciary Committee has released a transcript of Hope Hicks' testimony on Capitol Hill – and it shows why they were so upset. White House lawyers blocked her from answering questions 155 times.

As we told you before, the former White House communications director testified before the House Judiciary Committee in a closed door hearing Wednesday. The committee was looking into allegations that President Trump obstructed the Robert Mueller investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. She faced questions ranging from the firing of former FBI Director James Comey to where her desk was located in the West Wing.

On the eve of her testimony, the White House announced that President Trump had ordered her not to answer questions about her time as a senior adviser. White House lawyers are also claiming she has total immunity from being compelled to testify. See the transcript HERE.
