(North Kingstown, RI)--Rhode Island is being announced as the destination for a British wind turbine maintenance company's U.S. headquarters.G-E-V Wind Power will operate out of Quonset Industrial Park and plans to create about 125 jobs.The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation board has voted to approve G-E-V for up to almost two-million dollars in tax credits over a decade.Governor Gina Raimondo says work is being done to ensure Rhode Island remains the economic epicenter of offshore wind in the U.S.
