More Americans Ordering Vegan Than Ever Before

If you feel like you’re constantly hearing about the Impossible Burger you’re not imagining things. It seems that meatless options are becoming hugely popular in the country, and Grubhub’s recently-released State of the Plate report shows when it comes to ordering in, it's no longer just pizza and chinese.

According to the report, orders for vegan foods have gone up 25% in the first half of 2019, with the Impossible Burger showing an 82% increase compared to last year. It is also the most popular late night order, up 529%.

As for where folks are ordering vegan food the most, Los Angeles tops the list, followed by Brooklyn New York.

  2. Brooklyn, NY
  3. Portland, OR
  4. Las Vegas, NV
  5. Rochester, NY
