(Smithfield, RI)--A lightning strike damaged a home in Smithfield last night.Firefighters had to put out flames after the strike at the Putnam Pike property at around 6:45 p.m.A resident was home at the time.Other reports of storm damage were concentrated in northwest Rhode Island.
