(Providence, RI)--Charges are being dropped against a former state senator accused of sex extortion.Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha says his office is dropping the case against Nicholas Kettle because of new evidence: specifically, communications between Kettle and the complainant, who apparently wasn't willing to testify.Kettle had been accused of extorting sex from the teenage page at the State House.He declined to accept a plea deal last week.
