(Portsmouth, RI)--A Portsmouth woman is charged with unnecessary cruelty to animals for the death of a family dog that was left in a car.Police say Emily Foley, her children and the golden retriever came home from errands on Monday, but the dog didn't go in the house with them, and was reportedly left in the vehicle for several hours.Foley has been arraigned in Newport District Court.
