Disney Is Going Vegan

Part of the fun of going to Disney is all the special treats you can enjoy, but that’s not necessarily so fun if you follow a vegan diet. Well, that’s all about to change.

Starting next month, Disney is going to become more vegan-friendly, with the company announcing they’ll start offering hundreds of plant-based options at both their quick and table service restaurants. The vegan options will first come to Disney World in Florida, with quick service options starting October 1stand table service ones coming October 3rd. Disneyland in California won’t be getting them until next spring.

Vegan visitors will be easily be able to spot the plant-based items because they’ll be listed with a green-leaf next to them, and they’ll reportedly be about 400 items to choose from. Some of the options include:

  • Steamed Asian dumplings at Le Cellier (Epcot)
  • Shiriki noodle salad at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen (Magic Kingdom)
  • Chili-spiced crispy fried tofu bowl at Satu'li Canteen (Disney's Animal Kingdom)
  • "Tatooine Two Suns Hummus" (Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando)
  • “Le Fou Festin" at the Be Our Guest Restaurant (Disney's Magic Kingdom)
  • "Eggless Florentine" (Main Street U.S.A.)
