(Providence, RI)--Charges are being dropped against a New England mob associate.The Providence Journal reports a federal judge agreed last week to dismiss a perjury charge against Gaythorne Angell Jr.He was accused of lying to a grand jury in 2011 about whether the Foxy Lady strip club in Providence was paying protection money to organized crime.Prosecutors say the 84-year-old Angell completed a pre-trial diversion program.
