North Korea Fires Another Missile

A day after saying they’re going to negotiate on nukes, North Korea fired a missile.

The South Korean military says North Korea fired an unidentified projectile from its East coast and it was believed to have launched from a submarine. The missile was fired over the Sea of Japan.

South Korea's military is monitoring the situation and have called an emergency meeting of their national security council. US Forces Korea are also aware of the situation and say in a statement, "We are aware of reports of a possible North Korean missile launch. We are continuing to monitor the situation and consulting closely with our allies in the region."

It comes a day after a North Korean official said the North and the U.S. had agreed to continuing talks on denuclearization.
