(Westerly, RI)--The deaths of a 59-year-old Westerly woman and her 22-year-old son are being investigated.Patricia Martell's body was reportedly discovered on Tuesday after authorities responded to a fire that destroyed her house on Monday.Scott Martell, who also lived there, was found under a bridge in New Haven, Connecticut from which he had reportedly jumped, and police say he died at Yale-New Haven Hospital yesterday afternoon.Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey said officers had responded to the Martell home over the years, and that surveillance footage showed Scott Martell's vehicle leaving the property before authorities responded to the fire.
