Brit Accused Of Sex With Traffic Cone Avoids Jail

A British man caught with his pants down… literally…won’t serve time in jail for trying to have sex with a traffic cone.

A judge sentenced 48-year-old Trevor Smith to a drug rehab program after two workers saw on top of the traffic cone in the elevator at a Manchester train station. Smith told responding officers that his pants had simply "fallen down," though they reported he also had white residue on his nose. Cops found a bag of narcotics on him, which he said he got from friends, and arrested him for suspicion of a drug offense. Smith has eight previous convictions, two of which were for public sex acts.

Smith admits he thought the elevator, where the deed took place, was a locked room. He has been given a suspended sentence and up to 30 weeks in the rehab program.
