Providence Councilor Says Scooter-Bike Report Is Lacking

(Providence, RI)--The city of Providence is releasing a report on the first year of bike and scooter-sharing programs.In the first year, the report says there were 169-thousand trips taken on scooters and about 283-thousand on bikes.But the City Council member who requested the report, Majority Leader Jo-Ann Ryan, tells The Providence Journal she found what was released to be inadequate.She tells the Projo a lot of information is missing and that she feels the report downplayed public safety concerns.
