Fluffy Dinosaurs Once Roamed The Earth

Cuddle worthy dinos existed at one time.

A new study says there use to be fluffy dinosaurs on the South Pole. The study published this week says a team of international scientists examined a collection of fossils that were found in southern Australia, which included "proto-feathers" from meat-eating dinosaurs.

The researchers said in a press release that the fluffy, hair-like feathers belonged to dinosaurs who lived on the South Pole 100-million years ago, and that the feathers may have been used for insulation and not flight.

Some of the feather are on display at the ‘600 Million Years’ exhibition at the Melbourne Museum in Australia.
