British police have arrested five teenagers for brawling with machetes outside a theater showing “Frozen 2.” According to reports, more than 100 people descended on a movie theatre in Birmingham, England Friday night – where scores of families were lined up to watch the Disney flick.
The teens wielding machetes reportedly showed up and started fighting. In the end, seven police officers suffered minor injuries while dispersing the crowds, and five were arrested,including a 13-year-old girl.
So how does a Disney film inspire gang violence? It doesn’t. Apparently, the fracas broke out before or during a screening of the “Blue Story,” which is about two friends who become rivals in a street war. As a result of this incident, the flick’s been pulled from its limited release.
