(Undated)--The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is changing highway exit numbers.The re-numbering is part of an effort to get in line with federal standards, which call for changing the exits to mileage-based.The changes are being made starting on Monday and finishing by the end of the year on I-195 and Routes 10 and 37.RIDOT plans to re-number Route 24 next year, also.The exit changes are posted on the transportation department's website.
