(East Greenwich, RI)--The town of East Greenwich has reportedly been hit by a ransomware attack.Town Manager Andrew Nota said on Saturday that the town's computer system was shut down so the problem could be dealt with.Nota is not saying what portion of the system was compromised.He says normal town operations have resumed, but are running more slowly because of the technology loss.
