Iraqi officials are reporting a rocket attack today on a military installation that hosts U.S. forces.
The attack on the complex next to Baghdad International Airport left six Iraqi troops wounded. One of the barracks hit, contained members of Iraq’s elite counterterrorism forces.
It's the latest attack on areas that house U.S. troops or diplomats, which the Pentagon has blamed on Iranian-backed groups operating in Iraq. At least nine attacks on U.S. targets have been carried out in six weeks.
