Search and rescue teams are heading to the last known location of a missing Chile transport plane.
The C-130 plane, which carried 38 people, was headed to Antarctica dropped contact with Chile’s Air Force last night and the military declared an alert and activated search and rescue teams.
The passengers were being flown to the Antarctic to check on a floating fuel supply line and other equipment at the Chilean base.
