(Newport, RI)--An update on a fatal house fire in Newport in September.The Office of the State Fire Marshal has determined the fire that resulted in the death of James Crookes was set by him, according to a Newport Daily News report.The office determined Crookes ignited a couch cushion in his home with a lighter.
