It’s almost “Time” to reveal Time Magazine’s 2019 Person of the Year.

The main characteristic of the honor is it’s got to be a person (or persons) who has most influenced the world in the past year. Last year it was "The Guardians and the War on Truth," a group of four journalists and one news organization whose work landed them in jail or cost their lives.

Here’s the shortlist of possibilities. We’ll find out who it is tomorrow morning on “Today.”

  • Nancy Pelosi
  • Donald Trump
  • Mark Zuckerberg
  • China’s president Xi Jinping
  • The Whistleblower
  • Megan Rapinoe
  • Rudy Giuliani
  • New Zealand Prime MinisterJacinda Ardern
  • Greta Thunberg
