(Providence, RI)--The man who was struck and killed on I-95 in Providence on Wednesday has been identified.The Rhode Island State Police says Gregory Perez of Providence was trying to cross travel lanes on 95 near the Thurbers Avenue exit at around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.Police said Perez was struck and killed by a vehicle headed northbound.They said Perez had a broken-down vehicle in the area and they don't believe he was trying to hurt himself.It's not expected that the driver will be charged.
