Dozens Of People In Houston Were Exposed To Mercury

Bail for the suspect in Sunday's mercury spills is set at five-thousand-dollars.

Christopher Melder is charged with burglary of a building and unlawful disposal of hazardous waste. He could bond out of jail for 500-dollars. Police say more mercury was found inside a Walmart after being detected in the store's parking lot and as well as at a Sonic and a gas station.

The 19-year-old also reportedly spilled mercury inside the ER of a hospital as well. .
